Attention Southwest Regional Helpers
From our Regional Training Director
Now that we have our venue for the 2018 SW Regional IPO Championship Event, we need to get our Championship event helpers selected. If you are interested in working this event, and I hope you will be, please start putting all necessary requirements in order and send it to me.

Applications will be accepted starting: October 19, 2017
Will remain open till: 6 weeks prior to the close of entry (November 18, 2017)
Selected helpers will be anounced: 30 Days prior to the close of Entry (November 30, 2017)
Helpers who have worked the SW Regional Championship, USCA Nationals or the USCA WDC in the last 5 years may be exempt from sending in a video for evaluation (Revised 03/2015).
Please note the below changes on how helpers will be selected for assignments at the Championship starting this year.
The protection judge along with the Helper Committee (which is made up of the: Regional Director, Regional Training Director, Host Club representative and Assistant Regional Director) will determine the placement of the helpers at a helper tryout that will take place prior to Draw Night. Placement will include two IPO 3 helpers-one to do the front half and one to do the back half. The judge will also determine one helper to do the IPO 1’s and 2’s and select one helper to be the alternate. (rev 02/2017 regional meeting)
